ELIZABETH ANN (Bessie) STENT


06/03/1862   Elizabeth Ann (Bessie) STENT born at Karinga, Burra to Mary Ann (Chant) and Edward Stent. Elizabeth married 1888 in Melbourne Mr. George Nathaniel Glastonbury. Both Elizabeth and George were born in South Australia.

In 1896 a son Harold George Glastonbury was born but unfortunately passed away in 1896 just under 1 year of age.

Auntie Bessie (as she was known) and George came to Kalgoorlie / Boulder, Western Australia, from Victoria where they lived and took Ethel Catherine NAYLOR home with them to raise, they did this to help Bessie's half sister Mary Elizabeth (Bigham) NAYLOR after James Naylor her husband died in 1921. Ethel would have been about 12 years old. Elizabeth Ann (STENT) GLASTONBURY died aged 75 years.
